 Tepat sebagaimana dijanjikan sebelumnya, edisi final Ubuntu Muslim Edition (UbuntuME 7.04 ) baru saja diluncurkan, menyongsong hari Idul Fitri. Seperti pada Ubuntu standar, media instalasi UbuntuME merupakan Desktop LiveCD. CD kedua mengemas software tambahan termasuk OpenOffice, paket bahasa Arab (Arabic language packs), Quran recitations dan banyak lainnya. Juga tersedia edisi DVD yang mengandung lebih banyak Quran recitations dan script untuk menyulap instalasi Ubuntu standar anda menjadi sebuah UbuntuME.
Highlights:- WCC (parental control tool) enabled by default (so as browsing the Internet is safe)
- Zekr (Quran study tool) installed and configured to play Quran recitations
- Islamic calendar and Minbar (prayer times tool) installed
- UbuntuME artworks: usplash, login screen, islamic wallpapers, theme etc.
Quran recitations provided by www.versebyversequran.com:- on the second CD: Muhammad Siddeeq al-Minshawi (16kbps, 193 MB) and Huzify (24 kbps, 322 MB)
- on the DVD: same as above plus Sa’ad al-Ghamadi (40 kbps, 433 MB) and Mishary Rashed Alafasy (128 kbps, 1.6 GB)
